tooth is associated with health problems.\nThis is according to the Root2Disease concept, which plays a central role in biological dentistry.\nMore precisely, it is based on the knowledge that root-treated teeth often lead to health risks.\nEven with the greatest care during root canal treatment, it is almost impossible to achieve a bacteria-proof seal of the root filling.\nThe tooth is colonized by pathogenic bacteria that decompose the tissue and produce toxic toxins.\nThese in turn are able to inhibit vital enzymes that are required for the respiratory chain, for example.     <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; margin-bottom: 0px;\">The solution: root canal-treated teeth that are causing problems must be removed.\nThis is the healthier alternative for most patients and can Root2Disease principle.\nBut how does the dentist find out whether a tooth is the root of a disease? <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; margin-bottom: 10px;\">X-ray diagnostics is a suitable method for detecting these interference fields.\nHere, the bio-dentist can recognize whether an inflammation has formed around the treated root.\nIn addition, a small tissue sample can be laboratory-diagnostically examined for metabolic end products of the tooth-colonizing bacteria.\nLast but not least, the so-called test injection with procaine is a diagnostic measure to detect interference fields on the periodontium.\nTo do this, the dentist injects a small amount of procaine into the suspected tooth, whereupon it is enzymatically broken down.\nIf the tooth in question is an interference field in the sense of the Root2Disease concept, the patient usually notices changes in the physical complaints associated with this interference field.\nIn order to alleviate the health problems, it is usually only possible to remove the dead tooth.\nHowever, this measure is worthwhile for the patient: it is usually rewarded by freedom from symptoms and a newfound attitude to
